SDHosted has experienced amazing growth in 2024, with new events at new venues and new opportunities. We are thrilled at our expansion with new events at new bars, offering different kinds of clientele the chance to interact with the SDHosted brand. Also, don't miss the SDHosted Appreciation Party happening on January 18th at 7 pm at Wicked West!
Our New Dating Event
This year we launched our own dating event, Pitch-A-Friend! This unique dating event offers the opportunity to pitch your single friend to a room full of other single people with a 3-5 minute PowerPoint presentation about how their friend is very dateable. Every event we see connections being made and are happy to announce that people are going on dates because of Pitch-A-Friend! We've found a new home for this event at The Rabbit Hole in City Heights and will be expanding this event to other bars in San Diego as well as North County in 2025.
Huge Community Events
We were excited to be welcomed back to emcee Sing. Dance. Crawl. in downtown San Diego as well as our third year emceeing the East Village Oktoberfest. We also had the honor of emceeing the La Jolla Oktoberfest, the North Park Salsa Fest, Beerfest at Belmont Park and the San Diego Padres Block Party! Our first love will always be Twisted Trivia, but emceeing these huge community events is such an honor, looking forward to more in 2025!!
New Members of the SDHosted Family
In 2024 we debuted new Twisted Trivia events at Cabo Cantina and Pali Wine Co. and expanded our themed trivia nights to many of the venues in our family.
We also welcomed Cass St. Bar & Grill Ocean Beach to our family, such a fun bar! Check out our weekly bingo at Cass St. OB on Fridays at 7:30 pm, our weekly trivia event will start there in February 2025! We will also continue our "Beer Olympics" saga at Cass St OB in Spring 2025.
And of course much love to The Rabbit Hole, the new home of our "Bachelor Viewing Party" which starts January 27th and runs for the whole season of The Bachelor.
Events That Made Us Smile
Shout out to all of the one-off events we did this year, from hyping people up at the foam run, to emceeing the C14 Foundation's annual fundraiser, to singles events at the Rooftop Cinema Club, we love to entertain! We emceed several private trivia events for companies located in Downtown San Diego all the way up to Carlsbad! We also had the unique honor of emceeing trivia for a retirement community on New Years Eve. Quite the switch up from our normal programming, but this event was FANTASTIC and we will be back to emcee for them in 2025!
Our favorite private event this year was definitely the "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" themed birthday party for a client in San Carlos, happy birthday Bryan!
Oh and don't forget about the Pacific Beach Puppy Bowl! This amazing event features adoptable puppies competing in games and will be happening for the second time on February 2nd 2025 with us emceeing! These puppies were all tuckered out after a long day of being cute.

P.S. I just want to thank everyone who comes to our events, week after week, month after month. This company has consumed my life and I am by no means mad about that, I love making people laugh and I love helping people make new friends. Both of those things are very prevalent at our events and it makes me so happy. What started as a simple trivia job has flourished into something beautiful. SDHosted brings like-minded people together, the friendships formed, the romance found, the laughs shared, it really does bring a smile to my face. I am proud to call a lot of you my friends and I appreciate you, so much.
